Are you passionate about optimizing how content is created, distributed, and consumed? As Content Operations, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our content strategy runs like a well-oiled machine. In this role, you’ll govern the processes that make our content impactful—analyzing data, streamlining workflows, and collaborating with teams to ensure our content not only meets strategic goals but also resonates with and engages our audience.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Content Strategy Manager and Content Journalist to bring content to life, helping shape the operational backbone that supports our awareness, thought leadership, and brand content. By making data-driven decisions, you’ll optimize our content supply chain and ensure every piece of content is delivered to the right audience at the right time, maximizing its impact and reach. What you'll be doing

•    Governance of Content Supply Chain:
     o    Oversee governance across the content supply chain, ensuring efficient processes that support content creation, curation, and distribution.
     o    Develop and maintain best practices for workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience engagement goals.
•    Collaboration with Content Team:
     o    Partner with the Cross-functional teams, Content Strategy Manager and Content Journalist to ensure content aligns with the global content calendar, is delivered on time, and meets strategic goals.
•    Content Tracking, Reporting & Optimization:
     o    Analyze content performance data, including audience engagement and consumption patterns, to provide actionable insights.
     o    Make data-driven recommendations to optimize content processes and distribution, ensuring content resonates with and is effectively consumed by the target audience.
•    Audience-Centric Decision Making:
     o    Continuously monitor content performance and audience behavior to ensure content is meeting the needs of the audience.
     o    Implement changes based on data insights to improve engagement and help the audience consume content more easily and effectively.
•    Publishing & PO Management:
     o    Manage publishing workflows for awareness, thought leadership, and brand content, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
     o    Handle the creation and submission of POs for content projects, tracking budgets and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
•    Tools & Technologies Management:
     o    Govern the tools and technologies used to support content operations, ensuring they facilitate seamless content creation, tagging, and publishing.
•    Process Improvement & Optimization:
     o    Lead initiatives to continuously improve content workflows and optimize the supply chain for better performance.
     o    Work with the Content Manager to ensure content creation processes are efficient and scalable, meeting business and audience needs.
 
What you bring to the team

•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
•    3-5 years of experience in content operations, data-driven decision making, or content strategy.
•    Strong analytical skills with experience tracking content performance and audience behavior to optimize content.
•    Proficiency in content management systems (CMS like AEM), digital asset management (DAM) platforms (e.g., Bynder), and reporting tools.
•    Experience handling POs, budget tracking, and publishing workflows.
•    Excellent collaboration skills with experience working across content and design teams.
•    Familiarity with content tagging taxonomies and governance principles.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:

Tier One Location (including New York City and California Bay Area): $86,000-$125,000
Tier Two Location (including Colorado, Seattle, and the rest of California): $75,000 - $117,000
Tier Three Location (including the rest of Washington State): $60,000 – $85,000

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
