We are looking for a motivated Junior Front-End Developer to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role will support the development and maintenance of HitachiVantara.com, contributing to the creation of high-quality user experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, eager to learn, and has some experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will work closely with the Senior Lead Front-End Developer to implement and optimize front-end solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist in front-end development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging, under the guidance of the Senior Lead Front-End Developer.
- Implement and maintain components, templates, and other front-end elements in AEM.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs and wireframes into engaging, interactive, and visually appealing front-end components within AEM, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all devices.
- Contribute to the testing and QA process to ensure high-quality, error-free releases.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
What You Will Bring To The Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in front-end web development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating excellent user experiences.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Basic knowledge of web accessibility standards.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies.
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts in those states that require it, the expected base salary for this position is: Base Salary Range - $45K – $75K
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
