What you’ll be doing
Hitachi Vantara is looking for a Biz Ops Reporting / BI analyst to join its Analytics team. You will deliver key foundational data, analytical, and reporting elements for revenue, price, volume, mix, and profitability.
You will work with and learn from a broad set of internal customers including Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service and Partner Operations, as well as key business owners and stakeholders spanning most levels and functions of the organization.
Successful candidates will have a talent for gathering, cleansing, connecting, transforming and presenting large amounts of data in well-formulated, easily consumable, and actionable summary formats, and for automating the delivery of standard analyses to broad audiences.

Key responsibilities and expectations will include:
- Gather analytical and reporting requirements working with senior and mid-level executives on business management reports
- Work with teams across geos and time-zones with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, HR, Operations, Pricing, Marketing, Product, and Customer Service and Support functions
- Design reports and dashboards that enable ease of use, and provide actionable insights
- Develop and deliver reports and dashboards in PowerBI to be used for management reporting
- Conduct ongoing analytics and support / drive special analytical projects to answer key asks from executives
- Manage, enhance, and maintain reports and visualizations to create ongoing relevant and strategic insights for the business
- Play the role of a data steward to manage and govern data definitions, data flows across systems, and drive resolution of data related issues
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, preferred or equivalent professional experience in a quantitative discipline performing statistical analysis and analytics delivery
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of proven analytical abilities, previous experience in price / margin analysis and very strong visualization tools skills
- Hands on Experience working with Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with individuals from varying backgrounds and diverse skill sets
- High energy, creative, and self-starting; comfortable with ambiguity and possessing the ability to complete multiple projects on time
- Expert knowledge of data modeling, data visualizations tools and Excel
- Experience with management reporting and executive communication
- Working knowledge of ERP, CRM (Salesforce) and CPQ systems, plus PowerBI, SQL, data warehouses and data
