IT complexities compromise the availability and performance of enterprise applications. Veritas and Hitachi Vantara solves this challenge by automating IT continuity across all platforms and operating systems, enabling applications to perform at their best and achieve “Always On” for their business.
“Always on” is standard operating procedure today. Organizations cannot afford downtime and disruption without losing revenue, customers, and momentum. In addition to local and remote replication, IT builds in clustering and multi-pathing so that they can not only recover data, but also fail over to another component non-disruptively.
However, ESG research reveals the difficulty of achieving these objectives. Only 22% of research respondents reported that they always achieve their recovery SLAs. Furthermore, 35% report that they can only tolerate less than one hour of downtime for their applications, and yet 68% of respondents reported experiencing an outage of at least one hour in the past year. There is a clear disconnect between what organizations need and what they are able to achieve.
In this session, ESG analyst Vinny Choinski is joined by Paul Romero and Federick Brillantes from Hitachi Vantara, and Doug Snyder from Veritas Technologies, to take a closer look at the latest research that addresses how businesses can become data smart and maintain an ‘Always On’ mentality. They’ll also be sharing how to overcome the challenges businesses face when striving to deliver highly available applications and data across on-premise, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
Join ESG, Hitachi Vantara and Veritas to discover:
- What being ‘data smart’ means in 2022
- How to prepare for hidden challenges that can wreak havoc on numerous critical production applications - and how to overcome them
- How Hitachi and Veritas’s partnership can simplify, replication, and disaster recovery in on-premise and hybrid/multi-clouds
