Senior Vice President, Customer Success & Support
Joe Novak is the Senior Vice President of Global Customer Success and Support for Hitachi Vantara, responsible for driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention on a global scale. Joe is a veteran in the technology and data storage market, with nearly 40 years of experience leading various customer success and support teams, critical accounts programs, support services, digital support, professional services, and renewals teams.
In his role, Joe collaborates closely with the company’s cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, IT, and marketing to align its strategies with customers’ needs and business objectives. He brings a focus on creating a customer-centric culture, enhancing the customer journey, and helping the company to continuously improve its service offerings.
Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, he led large, global service and support organizations for revenue streams of up to $2 billion. He also brings a successful track record of building award-winning support sites and improving margins while significantly improving customer satisfaction. He has held senior services and support level roles at Cisco, NetApp, Extreme Networks, and client support operations at Allscripts.
Joe lives in the Raleigh, NC area. When not working, Joe enjoys the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his wife, their three kids, their family dog, and their extended family.
