Hanoi, October 29th 2020, Mr. Nguyen Ba Quynh – Senior Vice President, General Manager of Hitachi Vantara Vietnam attended the seminar on legal framework and policy to promote the development of data analytics services in Vietnam.
Data Analytics is one of the areas expected to significantly grow in the coming time. According to IBM, the demand for data scientists is predicted to increase at 28% in 2020. For Vietnam, the demand of workforce for IT and data analytics in 2020 is estimated at approximate 1.2 million.
With the aim of timely proposing appropriate policies to promote the development of data analytics industry to adapt the trend, Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), and Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam (MIC) co-organize the seminar, which attracted a lot of participants including scientists and experts in the field.
As one of the honored speakers, Mr. Nguyen Ba Quynh has given a speech on the topic of Smart Data Platform for Smart Cities & Manufacturing industry – in reality and suggestions.
